How our center works
Out center possesses four essential parts, four departments.
Kids' corner
In this warm and cozy enviorment, moms could play with their kids themselves or leave their child in the hands of our experienced volunteers. The kids could, without a shadow of a doubt, find themselves something to play with. We have a toy kitchen, dolls, cars and a possibility to draw. There's one inconvenience though, the children end up not wanting to leave.
2. Clothing and shoe department.
Not only do our volunteers sort and neatly fold the clothes and shoes that are brought to us, but they always help the families that come to us find the things they need.
3. Handout department of kids' hygiene material (diapers, shampoos, soap, toothbrushes), toys, games, books, strollers, scooters, bikes etc.
We share what we have, trying to cheer up those that come to us. Upon handing out things, we look at the age of the children (the people have to provide a document for the children). Our volunteers are always ready to respond to any specific demands. We searched for an easel for a child with disabilities. We found a music stand for another child. For others, it was very important to find books bearing specific genres. A large demand surged for strollers and bicycles.
We also try to supply pregnant women with a carseat, a small bed, a changing chair as well as others. We also help them with the delivery of these materials.
4. Storage room
For our center to properly function, we collect children's: clothing and footwear, everyday items as well as toys and books. Using the money of our sponsors, we also buy items of children's hygiene, baby food and stationery.
